The title of this new episode 10 “Parental Guidance.” As a carbon monoxide disaster unfolds. a medieval restaurant will be the center of attention as it will be the victim of extremely serious monoxide poisoning! As a result of this horrible event, Tommy, Owen, and the 126 crew will have to race against the clock in order to make a rescue attempt before it’s too late.

Paul’s recent behaviors or activities haven’t instilled much confidence in his crew members, who are concerned that he hasn’t fully healed from his operation. When Paul was caught in the building collapse, we saw a glimpse of how deep their brotherhood was, and they proclaimed their love for each other as vividly as ever. but now his friendship with Marjan is also over. Apart from the apparent disruption to Paul’s career as a firefighter, there’s another layer of pain that Paul must now confront, one that is also related to his transgender journey. Meanwhile, Mateo will have a wonderful moment he will get a promotion from his old fire captain. but he will realize that he is no longer the man he once was.

The 126 is bugging Captain Strand about his scheduled second date with Catherine when a parcel arrives and It’s Gwyn’s macaw Ginsburg, which she bequeathed him in her bequest. Ginsburg is a nightmare for Owen. Mateo feeds the bird, and Owen is surprised when it doesn’t bite him. The bird clearly hates him. Paul wakes up from a nightmare in which Judd accidentally crushes him with a fire truck, and Marjan is there to comfort him. She takes to the doctor, where he learns he has Brugada syndrome. Untreated, this rare and dangerous heart ailment can be fatal..The doctor says he needs a pacemaker. Marjan tries to be a helpful friend, assuring him she’ll be there every step of the way, but Paul refuses to get the procedure. So he can’t be a firefighter anymore.

Tommy catches T.K. on his way out of the station and asks him to talk. He admits to accessing the narcotics safe before departing for his mother’s burial. She instead asks T.K. how he is and invites him to the group gatherings she formed after Charles died. T.K. is delighted to join her. During his first encounter, he recalls a happy memory he shared with his mother, beaming from ear to ear. When Catherine comes over for dinner, she compliments Owen on his sense of style and cleanliness. However, Ginsburg’s chattering threatens to ruin the occasion. While Owen instantly apologizes. Catherine had also a bird when she was kid. Ginsburg, as usual, is kind to her but unpleasant to Owen, calling him “Shut up, buttface!” Catherine reminds him Ginsburg misses Gwyn. Owen discloses to Judd the next day, while at work, that he might know why Ginsburg still has a vendetta against him, even though it’s been 20 years. In the wake of 9/11, Owen was home. He also started drinking heavily, which led to many fights with Gywn, which the bird witnessed. It calls him “buttface” since he called it that during one of their arguments.

Owen may not have had a chance to apologize to Gwyn, but he can make amends with Ginsburg. Owen enlists Catherine’s help and they return to the house with bags full of supplies and toys for Ginsburg. When Owen opens the cage cover, Ginsburg has flitted away to the big fluffy beyond. R.I.P. Paul was cooking dinner at home. He fell after a sip of wine. When he walks over to correct the record, he collapses on the ground. Marjan calling him. Heard the record player skipping as she knocked on his door and found him unconscious. She contacted 9-1-1 and conducted PCR! Paul awoke at the hospital with Marjan. He’s puzzled when he discovers his pacemaker’s battery on his chest. Devastated and enraged that he had no option, Paul immediately blames Marjan. Although the doctors made the decision, he is enraged that she did nothing to stop them. He asks her to go.
