911 Season 6 Episode 6 Recap “Tomorrow”
At first glance, the situation appeared favorable. Karen was free to leave the building on her own two feet. Even though she arrived at the Clean Room too late to stop the subsequent explosion, she was still able to get Bobby there safely. There was still a chance that she would survive the explosion that occurred at her place of employment. When she went outside, she noticed that she was having trouble breathing. After frantically fleeing the building and dealing with the anxiety caused by the predicament, she believed that she was only trying to catch her breath by sitting down. Nevertheless, there was a more significant problem going on here. Karen was unable to breathe when she passed out.
Hen was performing chest impressions the entire time while she was riding in the back of the ambulance. Because it was the only thing she could do to stop Karen from passing away, she did it. It was effective. The return of Karen’s regular heartbeat signaled that she required immediate medical attention from the medical professionals at the hospital. It was discovered that she had survived, but the surgery had caused her spleen to become trapped. The doctors were forced to remove her spleen (which is an organ that can be replaced), but she is expected to recover quickly and return home in the next few days. When Karen finally opened her eyes, it was obvious that she was more concerned about everyone else than she was about herself.
In addition, Denny seemed to be doing quite great. He made it out of the building at the very beginning unscathed and uninjured. That night he had trouble falling asleep due to his anxiety, but at least he knew he was okay. We got to see the progression of Karen and Hen’s relationship over the entirety of the show. Although their relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing, it was Hen who nearly died on a call which resulted in Karen recognizing that she couldn’t live without Hen. The two had been together for a long time.
The conclusion of the show focused primarily on Hen’s future and what she plans to accomplish with her life. She was unclear of what she would do with the rest of her life as she stood there with the job termination form still in front of us. Is she prepared to finally walk away from the 118? It seems that is not the case. It appears that she will not be pursuing her ambition of becoming a surgeon, since she has discarded the necessary documentation and is no longer considering the possibility. It was later discovered that Karen had given up her dream in the past for the sake of Hen and Denny. She decided to give up her ambition of becoming an astronaut because she realized that sometimes the sacrifices you have to make for the people you love are more important than your dreams.
