The season is based on Danielle Valentine‘s “Delicate Condition,” a book that tells the story of an actress named Anna Alcott. Anna’s path through unsuccessful rounds of IVF treatments and a tragic miscarriage is riddled with flips and turns because she is convinced that someone is trying to prevent her from becoming pregnant. Anna is still convinced that the baby is still moving inside her, despite what her doctor says, but no one takes her claims seriously.

American Horror Story Season 12 Filming

According to Ryan Murphy, “American Horror Story” Season 12 began filming in May 2023. The WGA strike, which temporarily interrupted filming, posed considerable difficulties for the production. Despite this setback, the show was able to continue with Halley Feiffer as the new showrunner and sole writer, according to The AHS Zone.

Tensions increased throughout the strike when Ryan Murphy allegedly received a legal threat from East Coast striking captain Warren Leight.
