Spider-Man: No Way Home has reached a new level of online fandom after making it into the top 250 on the Internet Movie Database. Not only did it make the list, but it also made it into the top 10. The top 250 movies on IMDB are chosen by a secret formula that takes into account the votes of the site’s “regular users.”
Let’s compare Spider-Man No Way Home’s place on the list to other movies.
This does not mean that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the best comic book movie. Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight from 2008 is on the list and was once.
Spider-Man No Way Home is only the second movie to make it into the top 250. Spider-Man: Homecoming came in at number one. Into the Spider-Verse, which came in at on the ever-changing list, is now at the top.
The third Marvel movie to make the top 250 is Avengers: Infinity War, which came in at number 63. After that, Avengers: Endgame came in at number 76.
In addition to Logan, which is Hugh Jackman’s last movie as Wolverine, there is only one other Marvel movie on the list: Iron Man 3. DC Comics, on the other hand, has five movies in the top 250. This is because DC Comics makes movies. It will be joined by the other two films in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight Rises.
Joker from 2019 and V for Vendetta from 2005 are the other two DC films that made the cut. In addition to The Dark Knight Trilogy, Memento, Inception, The Prestige, and Interstellar all made the list. This shows that the “regular users” of IMDB seem to have a stronger love for Christopher Nolan than almost anything else. It is one of four movies released this year that have made it into the Top 250 for 2021.
