Amsterdam Movie: brand new character posters revealed

(Taylor’s Version) It is the 1930s. Before the Oct. 7 premiere of David O. Russell’s spy thriller movie Amsterdam, new posters featuring each actor in the main cast—including Taylor Swift, who plays one of the main characters—were posted on social media to give people a sneak peek at the characters. Swift’s poster shows her standing with one gloved hand on her hip and the other resting on her chest. She is wearing a jade green tweed coat and skirt inspired by 1930s fashion, along with a lavish black fur collar and hat.

At the bottom of the poster is the phrase, “Let the love, murder, and conspiracy begin.”

Even her character’s name hasn’t been revealed yet. However, she is said to play the daughter of a prominent man who is killed near the beginning of the movie. The trailer says that the main characters, played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington, are wrongly accused of killing him. This sets them on a path to discover a mysterious plot and change “the course of American history.”

On Amsterdam’s social media pages, there were also posters for each of the three main characters and the rest of the cast. All-star actors like Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldana, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Timothy Olyphant, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola also appear in the movie. Check out the new posters below to see Taylor Swift and the rest of the cast of Amsterdam:
