We can see in these photos, Young Smurf (Leila George) looks happy with her twins, Anthony (Houston Tovey) and Julia (Scarlett Abinente). Pope comes face to face with Aunt Birdy once again. Will he remember who he is? From some photos it appears that Daren, Jay, and Craig have a meeting with Pamela and her family (Chesia Tavares, Alimi Ballard). Animal Kingdom Season 5 Episode 4 Recap
The episode starts with Deran who is surfing just when DEA Agent Livengood comes and says does he know who is sending Adrian money? Deran replies in no. At his friend’s bachelorette party in Renn (Christina Ochoa), Craig is nursing the baby. Deran arrives and J talks about the coke still on the plane.
The very emotional scene was when the Pope was taken into custody and could not remember his name, what he was doing, or how he got there. The Pope is now in handcuffs and Officer Chadwick is with him. Natalie is in J’s house, Deran comes she leaves. He asks about Pete. J says that he is meeting Pete today.
At the bowling alley, Deran tells J that he should sell the condo and a safe in the backroom asks him to write down the combination. Deran gives him the cash and tells him that they are going to hide the dr#gs in the bowling alley.
Back in the 80s, the kids catch up with Jake making up Young Smurf. Craig is in a surf shop, examines the man. He meets the sales clerk, brother of crackhead Dave, who gives him some kind of advice. Young Smurf (Leila George ) tells Manny (Rigo Sanchez) that he has a job, plans to steal the ATM, and they steal it by tying it to the back of the truck. They blew up the machine, the cash was blown away. Manny and Jake want to leave the state. But Young Smurf wants to stay in the oceanside home.
Deran meets Pete Pete says whatever J is trying to do, he has to do it another way. Craig (Ben Robson) hires a sales clerk to look after the child and he tells Frankie (Dichen Lachman) to stay away from J. She also does not agree with J as he only gets 2 percent.
Pope is in a hospital and puts on his jacket to leave when Dr. Franklin walks in. She signs a piece of paper in her hands, so he is going to have a CT scan and talk to her.
Officer Chadwick arrives at the house and tells Jay that Pope is in the hospital.
At the hospital, the doctor interrogates Pope, who reveals that his mother had recently died of cancer. The Pope acknowledges that his memory loss began after his death. The doctor thinks that the experience he is experiencing is due to the death of his mother. The doctor admits him for 24 hours. J. meets Pope at the hospital, He takes him to the place where he lived with his mother and Julia.
Deran meets Pamela (Charlayne Woodard), she tells him to make himself useful, Deran tells her he was hoping they can do some work, the house, the apartment, everything else is going to come to them. She says that if Smurf named her in a will she had a reason. Pamela talks to him about Smurf. Janine built an empire and if she wants it to be, she’ll give it to her but I can let you earn it if you and your brothers are as good as you say you are. She asks him to come out. He firmly put Deron in his place.
J meets with Pete and explains that he can no longer hold the product. Pete tells Deran is now asking for an additional 20 percent. At the end of the episode, there’s a pool party going on, Pope, Deran, and J. Pope goes out and tells J angrily that he shouldn’t shoot him, he shoots mom right in front of us.
