That’s when the old prison friend told, “She’s dead. Going again in flashbacks to the 1980s, Janine plans to buy herself a policeman. New parents Renn and Craig have another fight. Cody wants Smurf’s empire. But Pam wanted them to get a safe for her. The proposal was accepted in the meeting with Pam. Pope (Shawn Hatosy) tells Deran he can’t help Pam’s job. Deran (Jake Weary) tells J that Pope is gone. As the story of the Pope progresses, the main character of the show will be briefly taken away after Smurf. To escape the pain, he goes to the desert. We will continue to go past the Smurf. Because the Cody boys need to understand her bond with Pamela. The last episode 5 sets the stage for what’s to come. And it’s going to be awesome. In Episode 5, Pope happens to be in a Christian group being baptized at sea. One of the people recognizes the Pope, he is a former prisoner. He tells Pope that Angela passed away a few days ago, realizing that his ex, Shane, may have been behind the lynching. Pamela calls Deran to inform them that she and her family will be visiting the Smurf’s house later. Renn comes back and says that she is thinking of selling the real estate. Craig (Ben Robson) explains that babysitting is hard. Ren tells him that Pamela is leaving the house, he leaves. In 1980’s Flossbach, Young Smurf is at dinner and overhears some cops, including Jerry, learning about Jerry’s background from a waitress. Jerry’s wife just took off and his mother has cancer.
Craig, Deran (Jake Weary), and J meet at home, Craig tells him they should have 24 hours’ notice, everyone has their own opinion on Pamela’s coming here. That’s when Craig asks about Pope. Pamela (Charlayne Woodard) arrives with her son Phonix and granddaughter Lark. And then she asks the brothers to help bring Phoenix lunch to “her” home. Deran sees Pamela and Lark at home and makes plans for it. But Daren doesn’t like it. Then the Pope shows up and Pamela asks Andrew, this is Aunt Birdie, does she remember her. Pope is confused, but he says he remembers her. Pope used to babysit Phonix and Julia when they were young. Pamela; I have brought barbeque. He thought you were all used to eating out with your mother. Craig says Smurfs always cook. Pamela says she couldn’t boil the water. Pamela has an offer, a man who blackmails Pamela to get her the goods. She says that in return she will give them Smurf’s property, there will be no second chance. .
J (Finn Cole) says they can fight the will, Lark says they will never win. Lark tells Pamela is not a patient woman, she won’t ask again. They are all curious to know what is in the safe. Phoenix says that twenty years ago he got drunk and got into a fight, two died and killed a man and Marion, now he is being blackmailed. Pamela finds Pope in a bedroom, he tells her that he still smells the same. Pam feels sorry for Julia and is. She says it must have been tough on Smurf. Pamela tells the brothers that she has 24 hours to decide, Phoenix will give you all those details. Deran thinks they should find out the location, but J is against it.
Pope chases Shane, and beats him on the beach, then nearly drowns him in the water. They find the place with the help of Phoenix. which was always crowded. It’s a skateboard clubhouse with all the kids. Phoenix says Marion helped raise her, taught her a lot.
Young Smurf, (Leila George ) kids and Jake plan to steal a red firebird from a hotel, pretending that his mother is a guest there. They are dragged by the police. Children get scared. Smurf tells Jake that she is going to do all the talking. Smurf gets out of the car to get his ID, but Jerry is the one who pulls him over. Smurf, Jake, and the kids steal a Firebird. Smurf makes a deal with Jerry. She learns that her mom is sick and isn’t earning enough money. The Smurf gives the kids some money for their share in the job, telling Jake that he shouldn’t. Later, when the two are alone, he asks her what they are doing. Smurf he can go home forever.
Craig meets with Frankie, talks about business. Craig shows her some jewelry. Frankie tells, he will get the price after three days. Frankie says that J is the one who approached her about the fence, so why is he there. Frankie and Craig leave. J, Craig, and Deran are in the house together. Deran asks J if he has sold his condo, and replies no. At home, Craig tells Rayna about the job, she tells him it sounds easy. She says she can’t breastfeed because she smoked. Deran looks for the Pope. He is packing things. Pope says he has to go. Deran says we looked for the job Pamela wants us to do and we need you.
Deran says he looked for a job and he needs it. Deran looks at her hand and asks whose blood it is. Pope breaks down emotionally. He’s forgetting things, and hears Smurf’s voice everywhere he sees her. Deran says he can go. Pope says he doesn’t know if he can come back. Deran tells J that Pope is gone.
