The summer holiday for the three Windy City series can feel incredibly long to devoted Chi-Hard fans who are eagerly awaiting the resumption of the wildly popular “One Chicago” slate of programming. But at least these devoted viewers may rest easy knowing that “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “Chicago Med” have already been returning for three additional seasons apiece starting in 2020.

While fans wait for new developments for their favorite One Chicago characters. The three action-packed procedurals’ prior seasons left many things up in the air. For instance, The fallout from a confidential informant’s fatal shooting in Chicago P.D. is still unclear. Chicago Fire finished the previous season with a strong indication that a long-running romance between two beloved characters is finally coming to an end. Additionally, Chicago Med ended the previous season with several individuals trapped in a possibly fatal fire in the Will Halstead-owned (Nick Gehlfuss) apartment complex. We have excellent news for One Chicago viewers who are anticipating the return of their favorite Chicago-based dramas: Here is the first trailer for the upcoming seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. With the release of a new One Chicago promo, Chi-Hards get a taste of the action and excitement to come. The One Chicago commanders, Chief Boden of Chicago Fire (Eamonn Walker), Sharon Goodwin of Chicago Med (S. Epatha Merkerson), and Sgt. Hank Voight of Chicago P.D., set the scene (Jason Beghe).

One Chicago New Episodes Release Date

Chicago Med began operations in 2015, Chicago Fire in 2012, and Chicago P.D. in 2014. Dick Wolf, the brains behind the Law & Order universe, served as executive producer on all of them. And they have each had seven, ten, or nine seasons of running time.

On NBC, Chicago Med airs every Wednesday at 8/7c. Join Dr. Will Halstead, Dr. Crockett Marcel, and the other top doctors at Chicago Medical as they save patients’ lives while also becoming involved with each other. Watch on Peacock and NBC.com. The eighth season debuts on September 21 at 8/7c.
