Bel-Air Season 1 Episode 8 Recap
Hilary (Coco Jones) confronted Kylo (Jon Beavers) about her lingerie-clad cooking demonstration going viral. Hilary realized the content didn’t fit the brand she desired for herself and tried something fresh after first persuading her to keep publishing it due to its profitability. Kylo, on the other hand, reminded Hilary of the fine print, requiring her to pay him $50,000 for breaching the contract. Hilary sleeps in hotels while she tries to figure out how to pay off her debt without the support of her parents. Viola or Vy (April Parker Jones), Vivian’s (Cassandra Freeman) sister and Will’s (Jabari Banks) mother, came to the estate for her son’s birthday. The visit, however, resurfaced unresolved tensions between the sisters, as Vy felt abandoned by her sister when she relocated to Los Angeles. She also revealed the truth about Will’s father, Lou, which was something that Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) fought against. As a result, he demanded that Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) keep Lou away from his kid, which the house manager originally refused to comply with. Will also approached Geoffrey and begged him to assist him in contacting his father, putting him in an awkward situation.
