Captain Sandy Yawn blew up to Malia White last week, and we picked up where we left off last week. She didn’t find out about David Pascoe’s injury for several days. Sandy has lost faith in her star student. Sandy summons Malia to the bridge one hour later to make amends. Even if David’s damage is only a severe bruise, Malia agrees to file an incident report. And both sides apologize for their first-ever altercation. It’s time to start charter number 6 as the guests make their way down the pier! Three of the visitors will be late because they are awaiting the results of their COVID exam. This group of visitors, which includes a gospel musician and his heavenly entourage, will not be as demanding as the staff is used to. Shirley Temples are being ordered by the primary. The charter also provides opportunities for the deck crew to develop, with Mzi Dempers manning the bow for the first time during departure.
