Captain Sandy Yawn blew up to Malia White last week, and we picked up where we left off last week. She didn’t find out about David Pascoe’s injury for several days. Sandy has lost faith in her star student. Sandy summons Malia to the bridge one hour later to make amends. Even if David’s damage is only a severe bruise, Malia agrees to file an incident report. And both sides apologize for their first-ever altercation. It’s time to start charter number 6 as the guests make their way down the pier! Three of the visitors will be late because they are awaiting the results of their COVID exam. This group of visitors, which includes a gospel musician and his heavenly entourage, will not be as demanding as the staff is used to. Shirley Temples are being ordered by the primary. The charter also provides opportunities for the deck crew to develop, with Mzi Dempers manning the bow for the first time during departure.

The rest of the visitors come by water taxi after mooring in Borovnik. The visitors’ first request is for a beach picnic for lunch, but Malia and Mzi will be responsible for the entire set-up. When it’s time for lunch, Katie and Lloyd are in charge of the service for the rest of the expedition. Mat set up build-your-own poke bowls, and the attendees were overjoyed. Malia and Mzi took a little longer to set up the picnic on the boat. Water activities in the afternoon. And it’s also Mzi‘s first-ever morning shift. a few tasks slip Mzi’s mind. So when a guest suddenly appears wanting to go for an early morning paddleboard, there are no paddleboards to be found. And worst of all, Captain Sandy catches the mistake.  The deck crew’s morning only goes from bad to worse Mzi and Lloyd making even more mistakes. First, Lloyd forgot to take the anchor ball down. Then, the fenders are in the wrong spot for docking. Once Malia catches David with Mathew in the galley instead of up on deck’. Finally, during docking, Mzi messes up the heaving line.
