Who is Jared Woodin?
Jared Woodin is from North Branford, Connecticut, and has been sailing for more than ten years. Born on April 21, 35-year-old Jared is one of the more experienced crew members, bringing a bit of maturity to the young group below deck.  After high school, Jared worked as a carpenter at Dakota Builders, where he saw a lot of sawdust. Later, he worked on the sun-drenched decks of fancy ships.
After graduating from North Branford High School in 2006, Jared went from putting up wood frames and roofs to working as a deckhand on private boats for a long time. His LinkedIn page describes him as a skilled yachting expert who used to be a skilled carpenter. He is good at many things, such as woodworking, installing siding, working with concrete, and more.
For Season 11, Jared becomes the bosun and becomes part of the Below Deck family. He is in charge of running the deck, leading the deckhands, and making sure the outside is in great shape. The trailer shows how hands-on Jared is, working with his dedicated deck team to keep the St. David’s deck in good shape. This brings a sense of community and teamwork to the show’s core.
