Big Night! Who Won Golden Globes Awards 2023

The 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be LIVE on NBC and Peacock on Tuesday, January 10th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. Jerrod Carmichael will host!

Due to concerns about the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s lack of diversity, the event, which was organized by that organization, wasn’t broadcast the previous year.
Jerrod Carmichael, the host, focused on the incident in his opening remarks, saying: “I’m here because I’m Black. Big night: Tonight’s Golden Globes saw many wins for the TV programs “White Lotus” and “Abbott Elementary.”  while “The Banshees of Inisherin” and “The Fabelmans” took home two of the night’s most prized cinema honors.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television: Evan Peters, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”

Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Evan Peters, won the award for best actor in a limited television series. The prize for the finest actor in a television limited series went to Evan Peters. In the Netflix series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” Peters portrayed serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. “A difficult one to make, a terrible one to watch,” Peters said of the program, “but I genuinely hope some good came out of it.”

The Golden Globe award for best television series drama went to “House of the Dragon.”

With five nominations, the show entered the ceremony in first place among television nominees, surpassing “The Bear,” “Hacks,” “Only Murders in the Building,” and “Wednesday” in the top category.

Golden Globe for best drama film went to Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans.”

The intimate documentary about Spielberg’s youth won the night’s top prize, beating out “Avatar: The Way of the Water,” “Elvis,” “Tar,” and “Top Gun: Maverick.”

The Golden Globe for best musical or comedy film went to “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
In the movie, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson play ex-best friends who drifted away and set off a sinister chain of events. The movie, which is set in Ireland and is directed by Martin McDonagh, also stars Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan.
