‘BJORN OF THE DEAD’ STARTS FILMING IN THE UK WITH ROCK ICONS BRUCE DICKINSON AND BJÖRN ULVAEUS

Bjorn of the Dead movie

The much-anticipated horror comedy Bjorn of the Dead has officially begun filming. The movie is being shot in Wolverhampton and Birmingham, UK, and films began there on August 31, 2024. British rock star Bruce Dickinson and ABBA singer Björn Ulvaeus are working together on a new and exciting project.

Bjorn of the Dead is a horror-comedy movie about Björn Ulvaeus and his ABBA tribute band, Abbatoir, who get caught in the middle of the end of the world during a Battle of the Bands competition at The Niney Dimey nightclub.

The movie is directed by Sara Sugarman, and Andrew T. Hunt, James Fler, and Michael Paszt are in charge of making it. Grant Prendergast and Austin Dickinson wrote the script, and Dickinson also has a part in the cast. In this story, tribute bands are important, and Abbatoir has a hard time keeping their gigs at some pretty bad places before something terrible happens at a nightclub. As injuries turn the hurt into hungry zombies, the group must work together to stay alive.

The movie is directed by Elza Kephart, who is known for her work on Slaxx. Raven Banner will be in charge of sales around the world. In charge of making the show are Michael Paszt, James Fler, and Andrew T. Hunt. The movie looks like it will have cameos from people in the rock and heavy metal scenes, which makes it even more appealing.

Andrew Prendergast was excited about the project and called it a “blood-drenched gore fest” that explores the music industry’s inner workings through a super funny, terrifying lens. Austin Dickinson echoed the enthusiasm, stating, “We can’t wait for you guys to see what’s in store. Get your spandex on, preen your wigs, and sharpen your axes. Bjorn is coming.”
