Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 18 Recap
Captain Phillips approaches Frank after saving a woman from being shoved onto the subway lines. Garrett is immediately uneasy, but Abigail believes Denzel Washington should play Phillips in a film. Phillips wants to join the police department, but he’s almost 42 years old, making him ineligible. He’d like Frank to make an exception for him. Meanwhile, Jamie witnesses Sergeant Nichols punching another officer in the face and considers whether or not to report her. Eddie encourages him to do so since she likes her and knows she is going through a difficult period, but Jamie is well aware that he is required by law to file a report. Finally, Erin bumps into an old classmate who sarcastically informs her that her office is unconcerned about justice and that the wrong man was convicted. Erin and Anthony start looking into the case, but they rapidly run into a roadblock and must rely on her obnoxious ex-colleague to help them solve it. The evidence swiftly points to a probable assailant who was overlooked by the original department.
