Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 7 Recap

The episode of Blue Blood tonight begins with the owner of Bao’s Banh Mi sandwich restaurant arriving in the morning to find that it has been trashed and a bottle being thrown at him. Erin is assigned a little case that falls outside her office’s pay scale. When she shows Anthony the file, he can’t believe it; it’s a minor drug possession case. Danny and Baez arrive at the sandwich business, where the owner has survived a head wound. Mr. Bao claims he was alone when he was hit and didn’t see who hit him. He lost a lot of money; he lost $20,000 in all. Danny and Baez leave the business and attempt to ask individuals in the area questions, but everyone claims to be unable to communicate in English.

When a young man sees Danny and Baez, he warns them that people are terrified of vengeance and payback, therefore they won’t talk to them. The gang’s name is Born in the USA, and it is led by a man named Sonny. Frank’s office, Reddick, is interested in working for him, and she is seated at a boardroom table with him and his crew. The people on the 14th floor, Frank says, were invited because of what they did out there. She wants the chance to show what she can do as a team with them as partners and the commissioner as CO. He then informs her that PCO will be her new command. Erin visits Jamie and Eddie because she believes Crawford was informed that she was planning to run against her. Danny apprehends Sonny and transports him to the station. Sonny claims that he didn’t rob Bao because he makes the tastiest cuisine, but that he is off bounds. The team is at Frank’s office, and now that Reddick is a member of the team, she joins them. Garrett and Sidney are displeased with the newcomer.

Danny and Baez are outside having a sandwich when a man with a hood over his head emerges from a van. It is the man who owns Bao’s building, a gift from Sonny, and he is sending a message to Danny that this is the man who hit Bao and ransacked the property. His lawyer exits the room. Reddick and Sid go head to head in Frank’s office over a case. Finally, Frank compliments Reddick on her job. Frank then hands Reddick the documents, explaining that it is an open transfer and that she can choose which bureau she wants to work in. Erin visits Danny’s office and inquires about the case she is currently working on. He says he’ll investigate it. When Danny and Baez arrive at Bao’s shop, Bao and his wife begin to argue. Danny is passing it via a translation app outside the shop, and Bao’s wife is telling him to tell Danny who did it because he knows who did it. Danny discovers that the child on the street who provided him the information is Bao’s son, who is in debt due to gambling. To pay them back, he robbed his own father. Danny visits Sonny, who informs him that he does not need to establish his business on the street and that he may work with him instead. Erin usually assumes the worst when she asks Anthony what’s wrong with her. Because she is the best, the DA assigned her to the case. Despite the fact that she doesn’t like Crawford, she says she admires and respects her. Erin announces over Sunday dinner that she will not be running for District Attorney because it is not the right time for her.
