Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 Episode 11 Recap

Bob persuades Dottie to accompany him to a business meeting in Malaysia at Abishola’s stern demand. Bob and Dottie are shocked to run into MaxDot’s longstanding sock supplier Wati at the hotel in Kuala Lumpur, who extends an invitation for them to live with him and his family. Bob believes he has a chance to share the excellent news when Wati remarks that he’s lost his all-consuming enthusiasm for selling socks, but Wati becomes enraged and kicks him and Dottie out of the house. Later, Dottie visits Wati again and persuades him to move to Detroit so he can be close to his daughter, who is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin, and have unlimited access to booze over a bottle of Jack Daniels. When Dottie reminds Goodwin, Douglas, Kofo, Christina, and even Bob at the following staff meeting that her choices are permanent and not subject to negotiation, they all know that Dottie’s relentless business rage has returned. Bob is shocked by this strategy. Bob is abroad on business, so Abishola looks for other activities to engage in. But because her mother is terrible, any attempt at bonding with her falls flat. Olu and Morenike fight to keep Abishola away from them at a drag brunch where she can’t pretend to be comfortable. Gloria claims that she is homophobic and rates around a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 due to her upbringing. Later, Abishola runs across Morenike’s transgender buddy on a city bus. He introduces himself as a law graduate and says he noticed that she stayed throughout the drag brunch despite feeling uneasy.
