With Season 3 of Bridgerton on the horizon, excitement is more. Despite the long wait between seasons one and two, we’re optimistic that the release of season three of the hit Netflix romance will be more expedient. After Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) discovered that Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) had been publishing a gossip column about the scandals in her family, their friendship deteriorated towards the conclusion of Season 2. Penelope’s hopes of dating Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Eloise’s budding romance with Theo further added to the drama.
Despite their many disagreements, the attractive and self-reliant Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and Viscount Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) eventually fell in love and we got to see a happy ending. It has been revealed that Penelope and Colin’s budding romance will continue to develop throughout Season 3. Nevertheless, not all of the original cast members from seasons one and two will return. Although we have no idea when the next episode of the hot period drama Bridgerton will air, tvacute.com do have some idea of what to expect from it.
When will Bridgerton Season 3 premiere?
Season 3 has not yet been given a premiere date by Netflix. Release dates for Seasons 1 and 2 are as follows: December 25, 2020, and March 25, 2022, respectively. Production for Season 3 began in the summer of 2022, so we’re crossing our fingers for a premiere in early to mid-2023.
The plot of Season 3 of Bridgerton
Seasons 1 and 2 followed the chronology of Julia Quinn’s books, and Netflix has indicated that they intend to adapt all of the books into the show, but that Season 3 will air out of order. Instead of following Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) search for love in the third novel, An Offer From a Gentleman, Season 3 will jump ahead to the fourth book, Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, which follows the courtship of Penelope and Colin.

It’s official: Daphne and Simon’s time together was brief. Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor in the first two seasons, said in January that she wouldn’t be returning for the third. Even while the revelation didn’t come as much of a surprise, it’s still noteworthy that Bridgerton is ending the story of the original characters.
The following is Netflix’s official synopsis for Season 3:
Penelope Featherington, the show’s protagonist, has moved on from her longtime love on Colin Bridgerton after reading his nasty comments about her in the previous season. But now she knows it’s time to settle down, and she wants a husband who would give her enough freedom to keep up her double life as Lady Whistledown even after they’re no longer married. Penelope tries her hand at the marriage market, but she utterly bombs due to her lack of self-assurance.
While all was going on, Colin arrived from his vacation adventures with an impressive amount of swagger. But now that he sees that Penelope, the one person who has truly accepted him for who he is, has turned her back on him, he feels dejected. Colin, desperate to regain Penelope’s friendship, offers to coach her in self-assurance so that she can find a husband this year. When Colin’s lectures become a touch too effective, he has to ask himself if his emotions for Penelope are more than platonic. Penelope’s growing prominence in the ton makes it that much more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter identity a secret, and her rift with Eloise, who has found a new ally in a most unusual place, doesn’t help matters.
