‘Cheer’ Is Back! Netflix will begin 2022 with the second season of Cheer, which appears to be a totally different show than the one that first captivated fans in 2020. And with good reason. In September 2020, Jerry Harris, a member of the coaching staff, was arrested on federal sexual assault charges, including the production of child pornography. The reality show, which follows the famed cheerleading squad at Navarro College, garnered news.
The first trailer for the docuseries’ upcoming chapter, which will focus on the team’s burgeoning celebrity and upended Daytona trip, as well as Harris’ criminal accusations, was just posted by Netflix. Here’s (tvacute.com) everything you need to know about Cheer Season 2: the plot, the actors, the trailer, and the release date.
The second season of “Cheer” began filming in secret in January 2020, as the show was gaining popularity – the new season would include a focus on Navarro arch-rival Trinity Valley Community College’s coach and cheerleading team. In March, production was halted due to COVID-19, and the 2020 NCAA National Championship — cheerleading’s Super Bowl, which Navarro won in the inaugural season — was, of course, canceled. In September 2020, filming resumed.
Cheer Season 2 Release Date on Netflix
