CHICAGO MED SEASON 9 EPISODE 11: DR. LOREN’S FATE & SULLY’S SECRET

In the newest preview for the next episode of Chicago Med, “I Think There’s Something You’re Not Telling Me,” things get more tense as the effects of recent events continue to play out.

The promo starts with a scene of Dr. Loren who seems to be better, but the conversation makes it sound like there might be more to the story. “You were supposed to be taking a break,” Dr. Will Halstead is heard saying, which could mean that he is worried about Dr. Loren going back to work too soon after getting sick or hurt.

Fans of Chicago Med were thrilled when Dr. Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) seemed to have found a possible new love interest in Dr. Loren Johnson (Henderson Wade). But their growing romance could end quickly because Dr. Loren’s future on the show isn’t clear. Dr. Loren seems to be in bad shape after surviving an accident not long ago. Fans are left thinking about his health and the problems he may face in the future.

Fans have loved the head nurse, Dr. Lockwood, since the first season of the show. This season, her character has been through a lot of hard things, like her marriage to Ben Campbell (Charles Malik Whitfield) ending. Maggie has said she’s not ready to date again, but there’s been a clear love spark between her and Dr. Johnson.

Dr. Loren Johnson is a general surgeon and medical chopper pilot who was first seen in Season 8. He has quickly become an important character. But the next episode’s promo, makes it sound like Dr. Johnson is in real danger.  It’s still not clear if Dr. Johnson will live through the crash and his injuries, which makes fans worry about his future on the show and how it might affect Maggie’s love life.

Fans may also notice that Ripley isn’t in this week’s episode. He’s promised to be back in the next episode. Ripley’s presence has been important to the show, and fans will probably be looking forward to his return. In this episode, Dr. Ripley faces a tough situation as he tries to keep Sully’s diagnosis a secret when his pregnant girlfriend seeks help at Med. Meanwhile, Dr. Loren works hard to secure a spot in Med’s trauma fellowship, and Dr. Charles teams up with a medical student to treat a bipolar artist. The episode explores themes of loyalty, ambition, and mental health care.

As the end of the season draws near, tensions are high, and fans can’t wait to see how the last few shows play out. The preview makes people feel like the rest of the season will be very exciting and emotional.

CHICAGO MED SEASON 9 EPISODE 10 RECAP

This episode, “You Just Might Find you Get What you Need,” has a twist in Maggie’s romantic life, Dr. Charles investigating a suicide attempt, and Hannah takes on a strange medical case. It’s hard for Dr. Loren Johnson when his flight nurse cancels, leaving him without someone to bring a heart to St. Louis. Maggie steps up because she has no other choice and sees it as a chance to spend time with a doctor she likes. The heart gets to the person who needs it—a patient who has been waiting for a donation for two years—without any problems.

At the same time, Dr. Crockett Marcel is in a tough spot when a possible lung donor is not a match for Carson, his patient who needs a donation right away. Dr. Zola Ahmad is ready to help, but she makes a careless choice that almost kills a patient and gets her fired from the hospital. Marcel is sad about what happened to her and knows what will happen because of what she did, but she stays hopeful for Carson’s sake.

A woman named June Bishop tries to kill herself and is declared brain dead, which adds a dramatic twist to the story. Nathan, her husband, still loves her and can’t believe she’s gone. June tragically fell because she was sleepwalking, which Dr. Charles finds out. Nathan finally knows why his wife killed herself. He had been trying to figure it out for a long time.

A man named Greg Sanders shoots a drug-addled guy outside of the hospital as a matter of self-defense in a different storyline. The event shows how dangerous it is to carry guns and what can happen when you act without thinking. On the bright side, Dr. Asher successfully treats a patient with appendicitis, and Maggie and Dr. Johnson have a romantic evening together after their scary trip.
