Chucky Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

A flashback to the Season 2 premiere of Episode 6 shows Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) trying to run the delivery truck off a cliff to get rid of all the Good Guy toys at once. He survives the collision and is pulled away by two unharmed dolls at the Colonel in a Brando-like fashion (Brad Dourif). In the present, Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) walk into the woods and find that The Colonel has been torturing Andy for the past year by hacking off and eating pieces of his leg. And Dr. Mixter (Rosemary Dunsmore), Chucky’s former therapist, is involved in the scheme. She tells The Colonel that Chucky Prime, the original portion of Chucky’s spirit now dwelling inside Nica Pierce’s body, was let out by Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly). She also charges him with being careless and forewarns him that each Good Guy doll that dies puts him one step closer to a final demise. The Colonel ignores Mixter’s request to let her complete the task on his behalf and instead demands to be escorted to Incarnate Lord.

The evil couple departs, allowing Devon and Lexy to get into the cabin and liberate Andy. They later bring Andy back to Incarnate Lord for care under the supervision of Sister Catherine, the only decent person there (Andrea Carter). When Father Bryce (Devon Sawa) discovers that Devon and Lexy have left the school without permission, he orders a lockdown of the campus and tells everyone, even the nuns, to stay in their rooms. He worries about Sister Ruth (Lara Jean Chorostecki), who thinks Chucky is the reincarnation of Jesus. When The Colonel adds homemade arsenic to Swole Chucky’s wafers, her personal messiah loses his appeal. The police are searching for Glen, Glenda (Lachlan Watson), Tiffany, and Nica (Fiona Dourif). In exchange for information regarding Andy’s whereabouts, Kyle summons Chucky Prime and pledges to assist him, Glenda, and the two of them in fleeing to New Jersey. Glenda is given the order to shoot Kyle by Chucky Prime, who claims to have slain Andy.

Nica regains control of the body when Glenda declines. Nica, however, Chucky Prime has the scheme to leave her body and transfer his spirit into Good Chucky.  Together, Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon, Lexy, Nadine (Bella Higginbotham), and Good Chucky choose to invite The Colonel to their location. When the bald-headed doll appears, Andy has already stabbed him in the head with a pair of scissors, so there isn’t any great combat. In his final moments, the colonel goes and remembers the Vietnam War. When Father Bryce and Sister Catherine arrive, Mixter loses Good Chucky in his effort to kidnap the doll. After Mixter hits Catherine in the arm with a gun, Bryce, who is now certain that there are living dolls, demands that they contact the Vatican. Good Chucky flees to the bell tower. Nadine, his godmother, follows and tries to talk him down from a figurative ledge. After appearing to budge, Good Chucky instead pushes Nadine off the tower and into certain death. When Jake, Devon, and Lexy finally arrive, Good Chucky has already regained his senses.
