Cobra Kai Season 4 Episode 1 is called “Let’s Begin” and is written by Josh Heald, John Hurwitz, and Hayden Schl0ssberg.
In this episode, Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do join forces to defeat Cobra Kai, but Daniel and Johnny argue over the best approach to prepare their trainees. When Carmen learns about Johnny and Ali’s time together, she informs him that she wants to take things carefully. Terry Silver is contacted by Kreese, who invites him to return to Cobra Kai. Terry declines, claiming that he is content with the opulent lifestyle he has adopted since leaving Cobra Kai. Daniel suggests to Johnny that Eagle Fang join Miyagi-Do, but Johnny objects and the two agree that the two dojos should be split apart. Kreese tries to get Robby to join Cobra Kai, and despite his initial opposition, he eventually joins and becomes a leader among the other pupils. Hawk experiences opposition from the other Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do students at first, but once he proposes that he and the other students construct an Okinawan sparring deck on dojo property, they come to accept him. Daniel and Johnny agreed to continue working together because of the unity between the two dojos. Terry later considers going back to Cobra Kai.

Cobra Kai Season 4 will see the return of all the main cast from Season 3. This includes William Zabka as Johnny, Ralph Macchio as Daniel, Xolo Mariduena as Miguel, Tanner Buchanan as Robby, Mary Mouser as Samantha, Jacob Bertrand as Hawk, Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri, Martin Kove as Kreese, and Courtney Henggler as Amanda.
Peyton List, who plays Tory, and Vanessa Rubio, who plays Carmen, are both promoted to series regulars in Cobra Kai Season 4. The characters of these two actors are not yet known. Ali and Johnny (William Zabka) meet with Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Amanda (Courtney Henggeler) at Christmas to overcome their past problems. Meanwhile, Tori and Cobra Kai’s students break into LaRusso’s house. In a brawl, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) defeats Kyler (Joe Seo). Hawk (Jacob Bertrand), who has had a change of heart, reconciles with Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) and replaces his fellow Cobra Kai companions, however, Sam overcomes his fear.
Johnny is training Robbie and he starts a fight against Kreese (Martin Kove), But Robbie (Tanner Buchanan) decides to protect Kreese. Kreese tries to strangle Johnny but Daniel intervenes. He uses the Miyagi pressure point technique that Chozen taught him. Along with Robbie, Kreese agrees to leave Cobra Kai if he loses the tournament. Later, he calls an “old army friend” from the Vietnam War. In preparation for the tournament, Daniel and Johnny train their students together in the Miyagi dojo.
What will happen in Cobra Kai Season 4?
LaRusso’s Miyagi-do and Lawrence’s Eagle Fang Dojos have teamed up against Kreese’s Cobra Kai for the upcoming 51st All-Valley Karate Tournament. It’s a different story as to who will compete for each dojo. Samantha and Miguel are the headline fighters at the combined dojo, while Robbie Keene and Tori are viable options for Cobra Kai.
As we mentioned in the recap, in one of the last scenes of Cobra Kai Season 3, Kreese calls on his battle-animal friend for support whose name is Terry Silver, played by Thomas Ian Griffith in The Karate Kid Part III. Silver is famous for founding cobra moss.
Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, Susan Ekins, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka continue their roles as executive producers. Composers Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson will be returning for Cobra Kai season 4. The two new directors for Season 4 of Cobra Kai, Lynn Oeding and Steven K. Tsuchida will direct 2 episodes each in Season 4.

Thomas Ian Griffith, who played Terry Silver in the third Karate Kid film, will reprise his role in Season 4. Silver is an old acquaintance of Cobra Kai’s big bad Kreese, and their shared history will undoubtedly play a major role in the upcoming season. Season 5 of Cobra Kai will premiere on Netflix, despite the lack of information about it. Season 5 is already over, but there’s bound to be a lot more Cobra Kai to come.
