Directed/produced by Oscar winner Clint Eastwood, “Cry Macho” will be available in theaters and HBO Max on September 17 on the Ad-Free plan, streaming in the US for 31 days from its theatrical release. The film was originally scheduled to premiere on October 22, competing with Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho and Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch, but with Dune and The Many Saints of Newark on the Warner Bros. It was pushed forward as a result of getting in the way, to avoid competition with the films. it would be released alongside Copshop, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Blue Bayou, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
