Daredevil: Born Again’s Muse Explained! Who Plays Him?

“Daredevil: Born Again” is the newest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and you can only watch it on Disney+. The show, which was made by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman, and Chris Ord, continues the story of Matt Murdock, who is a blind lawyer by day and Daredevil, the vigilante with a mask at night. The new season of “Daredevil” starts a few years after the events of the first season (2015–2018). Murdock has been off-duty as Daredevil for a year. Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, becomes mayor of New York City and gains power. This brings Murdock back into the fight and sets the stage for an epic showdown between these two important characters.

The show says it will explore more deeply the moral issues of justice, power, and redemption, and it will also bring in new threats that will test Murdock and Fisk in new and interesting ways. One of these threats is Muse, a scary new bad guy who shows up in Episode 4.

Daredevil: Born Again Episode 4 – Setting the Stage

Episode 4 of “Daredevil: Born Again” is a turning point in the season. It ties together several smaller stories that hint at bigger problems that are to come. While trying to figure out who killed Hector, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is busy defending a small-time criminal. At the same time, Wilson Fisk is going through a lot of personal problems as he tries to save his marriage to Vanessa after she cheats on him with Adam. Although Fisk always seems to contradict himself, he tells Vanessa that he hasn’t killed Adam. But by the end of the episode, Adam is still alive but chained up in Fisk’s custody.

The most scary thing that happened in this episode, though, was the introduction of Muse, a scary character whose actions hint at a bigger, scarier threat that New York City faces. At the end of the episode, Muse captures a good man and draws blood from him, which is a hint at the horrible “art” he wants to make. At this point, Muse has officially joined the show, and it’s clear that he’ll play a big role in the future episodes.

Who is Muse in Daredevil: Born Again?

The Marvel Comics character Muse is a bad guy who was first seen in Daredevil vol. 5 #11 in 2016. Muse is a crazy serial killer who sees his crimes as a form of art. He was created by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney. A lot of the time, his “artworks” are horrifying acts of violence like mass murder, torture, and using blood as his medium. Muse is not only a killer, but also an artist who thinks his crimes are a comment on society. This makes him one of the most psychologically complicated and scary bad guys in Daredevil’s rogues’ gallery.

Even for Daredevil, Muse is notoriously hard to track down in the comics. He is very dangerous because he is very fast and can blend in with the shadows. He wears a unique white mask with bloodstains on it to represent the pain and suffering he causes to others. Graffiti with Muse’s name on it is often found next to his crimes. This is his macabre calling card that pokes fun at both the police and Daredevil.

In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Muse’s introduction stays true to how he started out in comic books. He shows up in Episode 4 through graffiti that says “Muse,” and by the end of the episode, we see him at work. He captures a good man, takes his blood, and gets ready to use it in one of his disgusting creations. This terrifying scene sets the stage for Muse’s main role as the show’s bad guy, teasing a brutal and intense fight with Daredevil.

Who Plays Muse in Daredevil: Born Again?

Even though Marvel Studios hasn’t said for sure who plays Muse, according to  radiotimes.com it looks like Hunter Doohan, who is best known for playing Tyler Galpin on Netflix’s hit show Wednesday. Many people think that Doohan is the person behind Muse’s scary white mask because his name is in the Episode 4 credits and he doesn’t play any other role.

Hunter Doohan’s wide range of performances has been making waves in the entertainment business. In Wednesday, he played a complicated character with a bad side, showing that he can play roles that aren’t clear-cut in terms of right and wrong. He is perfect for the role of Muse, a villain who is both mysterious and scary, because he has played characters with hidden depths before.

Doohan has also played important parts in Westworld, What/If, and Your Honor. Fans are looking forward to seeing what he does next when he comes back as Tyler Galpin in Season 2 of Wednesday. If what the rumors say is true, his role as Muse in “Daredevil: Born Again” could be the performance that makes him a rising star in the industry.

What’s Next for Muse in Daredevil: Born Again?

The first appearance of Muse in Episode 4 is just the start. His presence is felt throughout the show, and it’s clear that he’ll be very important in the next episodes. Because Muse has a history with comic books, his crimes are likely to get worse, making Daredevil work harder to stop this crazy artist.

One of the best parts of the season is sure to be the relationship between Muse and Daredevil. Muse’s belief that what he does is art is a fascinating contrast to Daredevil’s unwavering dedication to doing what is right. When they meet, there will be a physical fight as well as a clash of ideas, which will give the story more depth and complexity.

As for Wilson Fisk, it’s still not clear what he has to do with Muse. Will Muse be seen as a friend, a foe, or a threat to Fisk’s newfound power as mayor? The way that Daredevil, Fisk, and Muse interact with each other makes for an exciting and unpredictable story.
