The first teaser of Mank, David Fincher’s upcoming film for Netflix is out which was cut and edited in a classic style. Mank is based on a script that David’s father, Jack Fincher, wrote before his demise in 2003.
The film’s synopsis says that in 1930 Hollywood was exaggerated through the eyes of the harsh social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankevich (Gary Oldman) fighting over the script for Citizen Kane.
The cast includes Oscar-winners Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arlis Howard, Tom Pelfrey, Sam Trotton, Ferdinand Kingsley, Tupons Middleton, Tom Burke, and Charles Dance. MANK is driven by David Fincher.
In limited theaters in November and will begin streaming on Netflix on December 4.
