In the previous episode of the new zombie series Day of the Dead, We saw The town of Mawinhaken is on the verge of collapse. Following a fracking catastrophe not far from town, the dead slowly begin to rise from the local cemetery. While working at the cemetery and funeral parlor, Cam and Lauren are the first to notice the beginnings of the pandemic. Their unlucky encounter with the undead leaves them stranded in the funeral home’s basement, trying to find a way out. Lauren, Cam, and the rest of the besieged group will have to battle for their lives if they are to survive. Meanwhile, Cam’s father, Detective McDermott, has an encounter with the undead while investigating a murder scene.
