Scola, unfortunately, became aware of the murder of an FBI agent in Italy while engaged in the aforementioned task for the UC. Even so, this did not prevent Scola’s superiors from being a focus for the furious anger that he felt toward them.  That infuriates him to a great degree. At the conclusion of the third hour (the episode of FBI: Most Wanted), shortly after the failed attempt to detonate a bomb at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Scola made a hurry for Rome and found Nina waiting for her at the hospital. Nina was recovering from her injuries. However, there is some good news: both Nina and her unborn child survived the crossover where she nearly lost her life. Nina’s near-death experience “placed them in a scenario that is horrific.

Scola asked Nina who had been stabilized, “How are you feeling?” “I’ve been better.” Scola asks, “But what about the young child? Is he Ok? Nina responded, “I think so,” as Scola placed her hand on her belly. “I think so.” “Felt him kicking….” Scola then turned his attention firmly to Nina, and with three not-so-little words, he captured everything that he had been feeling, which was a great distance from him and helplessness. “I love you.” Nina’s response, which was accompanied by tears, was “I love you too.” “A lot.”
