The BBC has annouced that humorist John Bishop is to join Jodie Whittaker for the upcoming season 13 of the rebooted sci-fi stalwart “Doctor Who“. He will play a character called Dan,going through existence close by the Doctor and Yaz, he’ll face evil alien races past his most stunning bad dreams.
John Bishop fills the hole left by Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole, who bowed out in an uncommon New Year’s Day episode.
Jodie Whittaker became the first female actress to play The Doctor in 2017 who will return as the extra terrestrial Time Lord, alongside Mandip Gill, who returns as Yaz.
Doctor Who Season 13 started filming in November and is expected to debut later in 2021.
