FBI: International Season 1 Episode 17 Recap
Two couples dine together in Occitanie, France, with one of the couples departing after the meal. Later, Daniel and Shannon Spencer heard gunshots and rushed outside to see whether it was the locals scaring them again. He noticed someone shooting at the vine containers and attempted to stop them by yelling, but he was also shot and killed in front of Shannon. Interpol suspected CRAV, a terrorist organization, of being involved in the case, so Scott and his crew took over. Andre met Daniel’s best buddy and business partner Henry as they spread out and investigated every angle, telling him to call him if they had any information. Henry was surrounded by local farmers, participating in a heated dispute as his wine truck went over the side of the road, Scott and Jamie noticed. They did this to him, Henry claimed because they didn’t like him or Daniel’s family.
Scott and his crew were aware that Daniel and his family were receiving threats from the community, so they looked into it. Meanwhile, the team found the identity of one of the locals present, Guillaume, who turned out to be the CRAV regional leader. So Scott and Cameron went to see a well-known chef to find out more about CRAV in the area. Things became worse when one of the men sneaked in with a phone and put on the recorder to record what Scott, Cameron, and the chef were discussing. Scott discovered the phone and recognised the man since he had been among the villagers when Henry was cornered. As he chased the man, they got into a battle, and he tried to slice Scott, but the culprit was apprehended with Cameron’s help. Scott eventually met Guillaume, who informed him that CRAV does not murder people and that whatever he says in the region is true. Meanwhile, Cameron was looking through Guillaume and Henry’s phones when he came across a mutual contact named Tristan. He was originally a member of CRAV, but was expelled owing to his outlandish behaviour.
They discovered that Tristan was on his way to Daniel’s house, where Jamie was assisting Shannon in packing and leaving safely. Scott alerted Jamie to Tristan’s presence, but he had already arrived. Jamie, on the other hand, managed to knock him out and had him jailed. Andre unlocked Tristan’s phone, revealing that he had been in communication with Henry for quite some time. As a result, Scott instructed Andre to send a text to Henry from Tristan’s phone begging for money in order to entice him out. However, it was Henry’s wife Amanda who arrived with the cash. Scott was eventually able to persuade Amanda to tell the truth. She revealed that Henry wanted to scare Daniel and his family with Tristan in order for them to flee the country and hand over the firm to them as per their partnership agreement. However, she also stated that Henry never asked Tristan to shoot Daniel, but that Tristan did so on his own initiative. Finally, we saw Scott in Budapest, meeting Sara for his session, and he turned off his phone to give her his complete attention.
