During the three-hour agents from the FBI‘s headquarters as well as its International and Most Wanted branches will work together to stop a worldwide threat. The first crossover event aired in September 2021 and introduced the newest spinoff, FBI: International, so this is the second time CBS has brought all three FBI series together.
An explosive wedding kicks off the episode before it cuts to “Three Months Later,” where the Fly Team, under the direction of Special Agent Forrester (Luke Kleintank), begins looking into the kidnapping of an American businessman in Rome, Italy. FBI agents Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) and Nina (Shantel Van Santen) fly to Rome as it becomes evident that the kidnapped victim knows information that would be very helpful to terrorists. Agent Scola has been operating undercover in New York in the meantime, most likely in connection with the kidnapping, to locate someone looking to purchase industrial-grade explosives. Pregnant Nina is investigating a difficult investigation in Rome, while baby daddy Scola tries not to blow his cover amid a highly dodgy and dangerous bunch of individuals, and neither of these situations is ideal.
