FBI: International Season 3 Episode 12 Recap
In the most recent episode of FBI: International, hackers break into the office and cause a huge data leak, which puts the Fly Team in a very tough situation. With their boss, Scott Forrester, suddenly going missing, the team is in a state of shock. This episode, “Gift,” is a race against time to solve a very important case. It throws the team into chaos.
At the beginning of the show, an NSA agent storms into headquarters and says that a tech company owner has been killed for access. Special Agent Brian Lang, played by Colin Donnell, is brought in to handle the case. Lang is dealing with his own problems. At the same time, it turns out that Forrester’s mother is involved in some way; she is a double agent who is hiding. Forrester has gotten a message with instructions on how to find her.
The team finds out that the killer of the billionaire is ready to give information about Forrester and his mother in exchange for not being charged. Amanda (Christina Wolfe) gets the NSA agent to tell her where Forrester’s mother is, so the team plans to find her with Lang’s reluctant help.
It’s unclear which team members have gone rogue, since Lang agrees to help and takes care of the operation at the end of the episode. But since Forrester’s last show has already aired, it’s clear that they won’t be able to find him. He might end up dead or hiding with his mother, but that’s still not clear.
Angela Cassidy/Vanessa Kincaid, played by Elizabeth Mitchell, is Forrester’s mother. She was earlier found to be working for the US against Russia as a double agent. In order to keep himself safe, she told Forrester not to look for her. Looking back, that advice seems like a good one.
