FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 Episode 9 Recap
“The Art of War,” tonight’s episode of FBI: Most Wanted, is about two armed guards who are killed while moving millions of dollars worth of Nigerian artifacts to a Brooklyn museum. The Fugitive Task Force is called in to help. Ray has a talk with his dad about his bond with Cora at the same time. Ray has dinner with his dad, Ray Senior, at the beginning of the show. Ray tells his dad that he and Cora are going to get married, but it’s hard for him to find the right ring. Ray has no idea that his dad has the perfect ring that has been passed down through the Cannon family for generations and includes a letter from Ray’s mom. Ray is touched by the act and thankful for his parents’ love and planning.
Duty calls before Ray can make a proposal. Two security guards are killed during a heist, and art worth millions of dollars that was on its way to the Woodberry Museum is among the things that are taken. A billionaire loaned the pieces to the museum so that they could be used in a show about West African art. But the museum didn’t know how much the art was really worth, which goes up when it’s on show.
Remy and his team are looking into something and think that Dax Tillman, an art trader, is up to no good. But their attention changes when they learn that the heist has something to do with Adisa Ojo and Khadijah Kinglsey, two Nigerians who live in the US. During an argument at the dealer’s house, there is a shootout. Adisa gets away, but Khadijah is killed. The investigation finds a more complex plan involving Alicia Foreman, the director of the museum, who was seeing Adisa.
Alicia was adopted by a white family, but she wanted to get back in touch with her Nigerian roots. She meets Bankole Udoje, a war criminal, and doesn’t know it, but he tricks her into taking the art to pay for a civil war. The FBI steps in and tells Alicia the truth, which leads to the arrest of the crooks. Alicia is distraught by the news, so she helps the FBI catch Adisa and stop the weapons deal. At the same time, Ray finally asks Cora to marry him, and she says yes. They celebrate their engagement with their family. At the end of the show, the criminals are caught, justice is done, and Ray starts a new phase in his personal life.
