The fifth season of “FBI: Most Wanted” began with an episode called “Above & Beyond,” which introduced Shantel VanSanten as Special Agent Nina Chase. Nina, who just had a baby, comes back early from maternity leave to join the Fugitive Task Force and show what she can do along with Remy, Hanna, Ray, and Sheryll. The first episode also shows Remy’s problems when he learns that he has an adult nephew named Corey and the trauma of a fake imprisonment case.
David Hudgins, who runs the show, talked about Nina’s arrival on the team and Remy’s journey. He also hinted at some future stories, such as one that will focus on Nina’s home life, Remy’s new role as an uncle, and the interesting cases the team will be working on this season.

David Hudgins, who runs “FBI: Most Wanted,” talked about a few things about the Season 5 premiere and hinted at what will happen in future episodes. He said that Remy’s journey through dealing with the death of his brother and his new role as an uncle will be a big part of this season. The premiere showed a little of Nina’s home life with her partner Scola and their son. Hudgins said that fans would see more of this later in the season, including how their family works.
Hudgins hinted at several planned stories, such as Remy’s future love interest, a case involving kidnapped children in a coal mine, an episode about a serial killer, and an episode about March Madness. He also talked about Ray, Cora, and Barnes’ character arcs.

Being around other people helps Hana, who is more shy, come out of her shell in her daily life. Hudgins also hints at Barnes’s emotional journey by saying that her marriage to Charlotte will be put to the test, giving Roxy Sternberg’s character a big plot to explore. These hints show that the characters in the series are about to go through some exciting and dramatic events.
