FBI Season 4 Episode 12 Recap
Jubal and his squad searched for a second bomb. A bomb had already exploded by this moment. So they suspected a second device was in play. They were right, after all. They were just too sluggish. The second bomb killed Councilman Doug Archer. Nothing to do with the late councilman. That’s all they shared, so the FBI was baffled. A third or more bombs were unknown. They had no idea who terrorists were. To their knowledge, no one knows what caused the mass casualty. But the investigation that followed seemed unrelated. A deliveryman allegedly left someone’s meal at the councilman’s office. The FBI then delivered. They replied they had nothing planned that day and asked the service manager if he recognised the suspect’s photo. Yes, he did. Bryan Moore, he said, was a new hire. Of course, it was a disguise. Brian McIntosh in real life He was hiding from a rape charge and slept at a homeless shelter. Brian was later recovered on a bus leaving town. He attempted to flee. Later, Brian admitted that the bombing was not his idea. An extra $100 to deliver a box was all he got. He had no idea what was within.
No one would call him an extremist if he was just doing it for money. They’d want to take credit for their work, if anything. They would not have utilised a middleman. With no other leads, the FBI turned to Brian for help. So far, he could only explain that the man who approached him knew he made deliveries there. The FBI found the extremists. They thought they had a man inside, so they employed him to spy on them. After all, even if the latest bombings weren’t them, they were still discussing a mass event. And therefore they must be stopped. It displeased their source. For his and his family’s sake, he refused to fight. Although he didn’t want to help the FBI, they forced him to. They forced him to collect data. Some of these plans were seen by the FBI. They realised the extremists were planning more than a simple postal bomb. This time they planned to use a car as a mobile bomb. When the target group realised they were being watched, they panicked. They began to doubt their origin. A new barmaid they were using as cover, Maggie, was also suspect. Informed that Maggie’s cover was under danger, the FBI dispatched OA.
OA was able to stop the guys from questioning Maggie because he was nearby. But they did scan the bar for a bug. Unfortunately for their source, they uncovered the FBI-planted one. That day, Collin was absent. So they went hunting for him. He was with his daughter since she needed him there. Maggie stopped him from getting to Collin. But it was useless. Their cover was shattered when Maggie arrested Collin. Collin didn’t think the extremists were fanatics. One of the guys said he was going for persons responsible for his sister’s death. That was new to Collin. But the FBI did not. It took them a while to find out who was targeting them. Nobody knew how to turn it off. Having started it, Maggie had no choice but to take a chance. She drove away. She parked it in an abandoned lot away from the crowds. When the bomb went off, she ran as far as she could and survived. A life sentence would be handed down for the attempted bombing. Maggie found Collin moving as she went to tell him the good news. He refused to be a part of it. Collin said Maggie put him and his family in danger. And that’s why he’s relocating to New Hampshire with his family. Thus, his ongoing service to the FBI was irrelevant.
