FBI Season 6 Episode 11 Recap

The episode starts with OA’s girlfriend, Gemma played by Comfort Clinton, telling him she heard him talking on the phone about a woman named Anna. OA doesn’t want to talk about Anna. All he will say is that she is the widow of a friend who died abroad and that he watches out for her. OA is called to work before the argument gets worse. Maggie is still on vacation, so OA works with Tiffany to look into a kidnapping. Tyler Combs is taken hostage with a gun, and the FBI is called to the scene.

Tyler is found in a building, high but not hurt. It turns out that the attackers wanted information about a meeting with Leo Grant, Tyler’s boss and the third richest person in the world. The FBI finds the place where the meeting will take place and tells Grant about the danger. There is a shooting at the meeting, and several guys are killed. It turns out that the shooters are high-ranking Taliban members who were meeting with Grant to talk about mineral rights in Afghanistan.

When the Taliban kidnap Abdul Sayeed, the boss of the Taliban, things get worse. They want to trade Sayeed for James Garrett, an American soldier who was captured before the U.S. left Afghanistan, according to information the FBI gets. Because OA knows how hard things are for the troops, they try to negotiate with them instead of using force. They agree to let Sayeed go as soon as they know James is okay. Sayeed tries to get away, though, and is killed in the process.

The FBI uses AI to make it look like Sayeed is still living in order to hide the fact that he has died and avoid a diplomatic crisis. But the truth gets out, and there is a shootout before James is saved. Even though there was a lot of chaos, James is back with his family thanks to the work of OA and the FBI. At the end, OA tells Gemma about his life and lets her into his world for good.
