In FBI Season 6 Episode 9, things get more tense when shots are fired during a robbery. The investigation quickly shifts to a diamond theft, which leads to a dangerous undercover task. This show is even more exciting because it has a connection to “FBI: Most Wanted.”

FBI Season 6 Episode 8 Recap
FBI Season 6, Episode 8: “Phantom”: The team looks into the death of James Sun, an Army worker who was shot in an industrial park. Since the killing happened on federal land, the case is now being looked into by the federal government. They do find out, though, that James was doing illegal things, like selling bombs. James was angry that he wasn’t chosen for a raise, so he quit early and stole from the Ammunition Regiment to sell to criminals. Someone didn’t want to pay him for a bomb, so he was killed. The FBI looks into a possible bomb threat further because they know about it.
They find out that James was talking to Clinton Payne, who is a known criminal and shot him. Payne had a history of crimes and was on probation for attempted robbery. The bomb is found when the FBI breaks into Payne’s house without an order. Payne is arrested, but he wants a deal before he gives up his knowledge. He says that someone in a chat room talked to him and offered to pay him $20,000 for the bomb that was meant to destroy a city block. The chat room is linked to Al-Shabaab, a Somalian terrorist group, by the FBI.
They find out that Special Agent Hobbs was also killed by Al-Shabaab in a previous episode. Tiffany is obsessed with getting justice for Hobbs because she was involved in the case that led to his death. Tiffany starts to believe that Amida’s boss, Hakim, is the key to getting justice for Hobbs, even though she is told to focus on catching Amida, an Al-Shabaab member who is trying to get the bomb.
Tiffany doesn’t listen to the orders and follows Amida after the bomb buyout because she thinks he will lead her to Hakim. She risks blowing their cover with Amida by going to a strip club where she thinks Hakim is. The team tries to stay hidden while arresting Amida, but Tiffany’s actions put the plan at risk. After that, she talks to Amida, who tries to run away but is shot and killed by the officers. Tiffany was put on leave because of what she did, but she hears that Hakim reentered the country, which gives her a new idea for how to get justice for Hobbs. Tiffany feels guilty and angry about Hobbs’ death, which makes her do dangerous things and become obsessed with finding his killer.
