Jenny and Cassie are seen drinking tequila at The Boot Heel with Sheriff Beau Arlen, a town newcomer played by Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles, in the Big Sky season 2 finale on Thursday (May 19). Sheriff Tubb (Patrick Gallagher) brings in Beau who’d been retired after working in Houston to take over temporarily, and he arrives in town knowing everything there is to know about the town’s law enforcement, including Cassie, whom he irritates by telling her she doesn’t know anything about cars because she’s a woman. Phoebe, everyone’s favorite fugitive, is on her journey to Canada with her mother. Scarlett and Phoebe (Zo Noelle Baker) are in a bus station in the Big Sky Season 2 finale. Scarlett retrieves the John Milton hard drive from a locker and informs her daughter that she must attend to a matter. Scarlett later kills the man (Brian Landis Folkins) who was following them from the syndicate. Before the guy who killed Wolf Legarski dies, however, he assures Scarlett that there will be more.
Scarlett might go after Cassie, and Mark Lindor (Omar Metwally) worries about Denise (Dedee Pfeiffer). He believes the syndicate is after her and was responsible for Wolf’s death. Julian McGuill, the paramedic who worked on Wolf, has not shown up for work or has not returned calls. When Cassie and Mark arrive at Julian’s house, they discover him dead in the backyard, the result of the syndicate’s labor. Cassie returns home to find Phoebe at her residence. Scarlett then calls, pleading for her assistance in protecting Phoebe. Scarlett also gave Cassie John Milton’s hard disk. Mark and Denise struggle to make sense of the hard drive in the last seconds of the episode.

Cassie runs to meet Sheriff Beau Arlen (Jensen Ackles). He says he was on his way to Cassie’s grief counseling session when his pickup, “Pedro,” broke down. Later, Beau introduces himself to the station’s crew, and Jenny requests a word. Jenny is taken aback when Beau promises to help her find Travis before the no-longer-undercover cop kills Veer. Meanwhile, Ren and Veer pay a visit to Jag at the hospital, where he is recovering after being shot by Richard Ford (Dallas Roberts) in the penultimate episode. Veer will not listen when Ren and Jag say that he tried to save himself by sacrificing his son. As a result, Ren loads her father into a truck along with Travis and a revolver. Travis wants to talk about his dead informant and the love of his life, Kate Garza, so Veer tries to buy him off. Jenny and Beau arrive at the Bhullar’s ranch with an arrest warrant for Veer. Ren suddenly divulges Travis and Veer’s location. Beau, however, hits Donno (Ryan O’Nan) in the throat, demonstrating that the new Sheriff isn’t all talk.
Is Veer dead in the Big Sky Season 2 finale?
Later in the Big Sky Season 2 finale, Jenny deduces that he still loves his ex. Beau and Jenny see Travis striking Veer repeatedly until he is nearly dead. Veer (Bernard White) admitted that Kate was still alive before the cops came. Jenny and Beau discover that the state wants Travis back when they arrest him. Jenny, on the other hand, instead of driving Travis to his handler, lets him go locate Kate. As she drives away from Travis, she sobs. As the second season of Big Sky draws to a close, Jag (Vinny Chhibber), suffocates his father with a pillow in the hospital, adding to the series’ tally of the dead. Ren then enters the room and assists his brother out. As they depart the hospital, brother and sister exchange hugs.
Big Sky Season 2 Episode 18 Ending
Tonya later bids Alicia (Constance Zimmer) farewell as she departs for London. Veer got the cartel owner to sign the business into her name before she died. Ren had no choice but to buy her out or run the cartel with her. Meanwhile, Jenny and Cassie have a drink together at the Boot Heel bar now that the situation has been resolved. Jenny let Travis leave, and he doesn’t seem to mind. Beau tracks down the two women in the pub and assures Jenny that he is on her side. The three enjoy a tequila shot, and the Big Sky Season 2 Finale ends happily. Although the syndicate is still active, Cassie accepts Scarlett’s departure after handing over the hard drive.
With the finale, we’ve met a Beau with flaws and been given enough material to tease his past and where he might go next season. Should we start wondering when Beau and Jenny will be paired? She hasn’t had much experience with love, and he’s only here for one season, so anything is possible. Bernard White will not return for Season 3 of Big Sky.
