Fire Country Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
Sharon talks to Vince about the firenado and tells him that it’s likely that embers from a fire at a chemical plant started a second fire that is now being sucked up by winds off the coast, which is what caused the firenado.
Gabriela, played by Stephanie Arcila, is aware of the danger caused by the fire because she remembers a similar event that happened in Redding. The fire tornado is much bigger and stronger than usual. With winds hitting 165 mph, it can cover football fields and raise the stakes to a whole new level of danger.
This episode also sets the stage for some very serious personal drama. Diego (Rafael De La Fuente), Bode (Max Thieriot), and Cara (Sabina Gadecki) are in a flipped ambulance. As they try to get out of the storm outside and they also deal with their inner fears and unresolved feelings.
Sharon and Vince are forced to think about themselves and be honest because of the chaos of the fire. Sharon comes to terms with her past actions while hiding under a truck. She realizes that she has been ignoring her marriage to focus on other things. She says she’s sorry for chasing after old wants and thanks Vince for always being there for her and loving her.
