There are fires you can see, and others you don’t even realize are burning until it’s too late. In FIRE COUNTRY Season 3 Episode 18, titled “EYES AND EARS EVERYWHERE,” both kinds are raging. Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot) finds himself playing with a dangerous blaze not started by nature, but by a powerful corporation with no interest in letting the truth come to light. While he fights for justice, Gabriela Perez (Stephanie Arcila) becomes the target of a threat far more personal, and Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) faces a life-changing decision about his future. The pressure builds on every front, and with the season finale on the horizon, the stakes have never been higher.
BODE PUSHES BACK—AND PAYS THE PRICE
Bode’s mission to take down Oxalta, the chemical company at the center of environmental and health violations, hits a major roadblock. His plan to get the Three Rock inmates to speak out and nullify their non-disclosure agreements is quickly crushed when Oxalta retaliates—not with firepower, but financial pressure. They threaten to force foreclosure on Smokey’s Bar and Grill, targeting Vince Leone (Billy Burke) and Sharon Leone (Diane Farr), who are now caught in the crosshairs of Bode’s campaign.
Gabriela warns Bode and Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) that they may be endangering not only themselves but everyone around them. Despite her pleas, Bode moves forward. However, their visit to Three Rock doesn’t go as planned. The inmates are already silenced—Oxalta’s attorney Meriweather (J. August Richards) has gotten to their families, using fear to ensure their silence. The fight is over before it can begin.
Manny and Bode are forced to admit defeat, and they return to Vince and Sharon with no ammunition. The lawsuit is crumbling, and the danger to the Leone family is increasing. Sharon attempts damage control and secures a meeting with Meriweather to renegotiate their previous agreement. But just when it looks like they might salvage something, Renée (Constance Zimmer) and Manny show up uninvited. Thankfully, Sharon is prepared—she records the conversation. Meriweather openly admits to threatening the families of Three Rock inmates and blackmailing them into silence.
With this evidence, the tide turns. Renée and her team threaten to release the recording publicly. The resulting fallout sees Meriweather fired and Oxalta finally held accountable in the court of public opinion. The original agreement is restored, and for now, Bode and Manny secure a small victory, though the damage left in their wake is still smoldering.
FIRE COUNTRY SEASON 3 FINALE – EPISODES 19 & 20: WHAT TO EXPECT
GABRIELA’S STALKER NIGHTMARE ESCALATES
Gabriela’s week goes from stressful to terrifying when it becomes clear that Finn (Blake Lee), the man she had distanced herself from, isn’t taking the hint. She thought ignoring his aggressive texts would work. It didn’t. Instead, Finn shifts from digital harassment to real-world stalking, showing up unannounced and clearly unhinged.
Station 42 responds to a house call involving smoke from a pan left on the stove. Inside, they find Finn, pretending to be surprised by their presence. His back is injured, and Jake and Eve (Jules Latimer) sense something is off. Gabriela joins Finn in the ambulance, where he starts apologizing and asking why she cut things off. His charm offensive works momentarily, but it becomes clear he orchestrated the fire to manipulate her.
While Jake and Eve handle the lingering flames, they discover smoke still seeping through the walls. Aubrey (played by Leven Rambin) joins Jake as they head to the basement—only to find it padlocked. Breaking it open, they uncover a horrifying sight: Finn’s stalker wall, filled with dozens of photographs of Gabriela. Realizing the extent of the danger, Jake radios Vince to extract Gabriela immediately.
Vince moves fast, intercepting the ambulance. But Finn is already one step ahead. He pulls a scalpel, threatens Gabriela, and flees, knocking Vince to the ground in the process. The team calls for the sheriff, but Finn disappears into the night, armed and unstable.
Gabriela, shaken, returns to see the evidence of Finn’s obsession for herself. It’s a brutal blow to her sense of safety and trust. Both Manny and Aubrey offer her support, but the final moments of the episode are chilling. Manny asks Gabriela where her gun is. Finn is still out there, and the danger isn’t over.
JAKE’S CROSSROADS: STAY OR GO?
Amid all this chaos, Jake is quietly considering a move that could change his future. He’s been offered a captain’s position at a nearby firehouse—a clear path to becoming battalion chief. It’s the kind of offer most would dream of, but for Jake, it means leaving behind the family he’s built at Station 42.
He brings the news to Vince, who is already grappling with the financial threats to Smokey’s and concerns about Sharon’s health. Though Vince offers polite congratulations, it’s not the heartfelt support Jake hopes for. He wants Vince to fight for him to stay.
It’s Eve who brings clarity. She doesn’t pressure Jake either way, but she reminds him to make a choice that aligns with who he wants to be. If he wants growth, maybe the new job is right. If he wants family, Station 42 is home.
Later, Jake sits down with Vince again. Vince expresses his pride and affirms how much Jake means to him, but admits he can’t offer a timeline on when a battalion chief position might open. It’s a bittersweet moment, but Jake decides to accept the new job. The door may be closing on his time at 42, but it’s not slammed shut. The respect and love remain.
A QUIET BEFORE THE FINALE STORM
As “EYES AND EARS EVERYWHERE” concludes, every character is left in a vulnerable place. Bode’s fire against injustice burned bright but left scars. Gabriela is haunted by her near-brush with a predator who’s still at large. And Jake, always the dependable one, takes a brave step into the unknown. The embers of this episode are still glowing, and with the finale approaching, the next blaze might be the biggest yet.
