On Ghosts Season 1 Episode 13, Sam and Jay broke down the lock to a secret bank vault using Hetty’s husband’s maid’s birthday. Instead, another ghost appeared: Elias (played by Matt Walsh), Hetty’s spouse and first cousin, a real-life robber baron. He tried to hit on Alberta as soon as he emerged from the gloomy depths of the vault, where his only companion was his own very decaying body. Hetty attempted to have a conversion experience with her womanising husband, but he exhibited no regret for whatever he did prior to death, including cheating, manipulating, and stealing from others.He was a very evil man who revelled in using others for his own advantage. The difference is that he spent decades inside in a black room, while she was out here watching life unfold through generations. She was learning from others, and while some of her principles were still a touch stale, she was improving. Hetty urged Elias to go to hell after he made it plain that he wouldn’t change, and he did. As the ground opened up and swallowed him into a blazing red pit of fire, everyone was stunned. Meanwhile, the ghosts saw that Elias’ ghost possessed an expensive clock, implying that he had one on his corpse as well.
