Tom Hanks’ latest film, Greyhound, “inspired by The Good Shepherd
by C. S. Forester that premiere on July 10.
Tom Hanks portrays Ernest Krause, a career U.S. Navy officer who is finally given command of a destroyer, USS Keeling, whose radio code name is ‘Greyhound’.
As shown in the movie trailer, Krause questions his ability as he leads an international convoy of 37 Allied ships in the North Atlantic while being hunted by wolf packs of German U-boats.
