Heels Season 1 Episode 6 Recap

The DWL is suffering in episode 6 of Heels. Pre-sale tickets are running late, and the fair’s organizers are becoming nervous. Jack is overworked as a result of Bobby’s injury. Big Jim’s baby’s baptism is an unwelcome diversion for him, especially as he prepares to publicize DWL and enlist more help. In the spirit of solidarity, Charlie Gully approaches Rooster and tries to persuade him to join Florida Wrestling Dystopia. Rooster tries to talk to Jack about his character and whether or not he’ll be a main event contender, but it’s clearly not the right time. He decides to join Gully after defiantly smoking out the front.

Crystal attends the baptism in order to figure out what her new job in DWL will be. Willie warns her that what happened after her ring promo and the accompanying explosions is all on her. And witnessing Bobby stagger out of the automobile serves as a painful reminder.  Mick starts digging into Jack’s father’s rage issues. Our protagonist, on the other hand, folds up and curses as soon as Mick mentions Jack’s father. Ace and Bobby work out their squabbles. After the show, Crystal does the same thing with Ace, acknowledging that she is to fault for what transpired between them. Bill, on the other hand, does not readily accept apologies. Staci is outside with Thomas gathering fireflies as Jack is on his phone.
Staci wants Jack to spend more time with their son, hoping to reconcile their disagreements and re-establish a united front. The episode comes to a close, we flashback to Ace once more as he muses on home footage while fighting back tears.
