Willie was under financial strain and still owed money from the State Fair show when Episode 2 began. Jack faced his own difficulties managing personal and professional concerns, including the absence of Staci Spade (Alison Luff) and Thomas, while appearing uninformed of the financial turmoil. As “Wild” Bill Hancock started dating State Fair Commissioner Constance, love grew in the air.
