New Quantum Leap Cast

Ben Song, played by Raymond Lee

Dr. Ben Song, a very smart quantum scientist who travels through time to investigate the secrets of the original Quantum Leap experiment, serves as the main character of the new Quantum Leap. It is up to Ben to eventually restore order following the chaotic events of the initial experiment, even with the support of the Quantum Leap crew.

Jenn Chou, played by Nanrisa Lee

Jenn Choi, who collaborates closely with Magic, is the experiment’s chief of digital security. In an effort to eventually bring Ben home, Jenn is focused on learning why Ben made the decision to leap.

As Herbert “Magic” Williams, Ernie Hudson

Every science fiction novel needs a strong central figure, and Herbert “Magic” Williams fills that role in Quantum Leap. The project’s leader, Magic, is caught between having to take care of the Quantum Leap crew and reporting to his superiors at the Pentagon.

Addison Augustine is played by Caitlin Bassett.

Former Army intelligence officer Addison Augustine plays a significant part in the Quantum Leap experiment. Addison, who appears as a hologram that only Ben can see and hear, offers insightful information about the past that Ben uses as a road map for his excursions.

Ian Wright is played by Mason Alexander Park.

Ian Wright, the senior programmer who rebuilt “Ziggy,” an AI unit that provides essential information on Ben’s temporal leaps, is another essential member of the Quantum Leap team. Fans were ecstatic to hear that Ziggy will be returning because he served as the original series’ comic relief frequently.

Is Scott Bakula Planning to join the new Quantum Leap?

Scott Bakula’s captivating and compassionate depiction of Dr. Sam Beckett on the first programme was largely responsible for the audience’s steadfast loyalty. Many viewers were left unsatisfied with the conclusion, in which Sam traveled back in time to inform his ex-girlfriend that her spouse was still alive. As a result, Beth and Al decided to have four kids together. The viewer is informed by a title card that Dr. Beckett never went back to his own time. However, the Quantum Leap reboot’s creators pointed out that Bakula was not a part of it when production started. The actor was slated to play a former rodeo champion in the tv show Unbroken, but NBC rejected the pilot, and it’s unclear at this time whether the show would be pitched to other networks. Fans of Quantum Leap don’t have to give up hope of a surprise appearance from Dr. Sam Beckett in the new series because Bakula has a bit more time on his hands.
