Who would turn down a superhero movie with Sylvester Stallone? In the new movie Samaritan, The Italian Stallion plays the title character, a retired superhero who is trying to stay out of the spotlight as his city falls apart around him. His young neighbor Sam, who was played by Javon “Wanna” Walton, quickly figured out who he was and tried to get him to save Granite City again. Julius Avery, who directed Samaritan, also wrote and directed Son of a Gun in 2014 and Overlord in 2018. Pilou Asbaek, who played Dascha Polanco is also in the cast of Samaritan. Where and when can I watch Samaritan?
Samaritan is a Prime Video original, so it will only be available on Prime Video at first. The movie comes out on August 26, 2022, but it won’t be in theatres at that time. Prime Video is a paid service, but you can try it out for free. On July 27, 2022, Amazon Studios put out a trailer for the movie Samaritan. The trailer shows a lot of fires, blackouts, and random attacks, but it’s not clear what made Granite City turn out this way. The trailer also shows how well the fights are choreographed and how well the movie is edited. the movie is only rated PG-13. This makes it a good choice for younger teens who want a darker superhero movie.
