IS ALEXANDRA DEAD IN 1923? WHAT HAPPENED TO JULIA SCHLAEPFER’S CHARACTER

Julia Schlaepfer as Alexandra

One of the most tragic moments in the Yellowstone prequel series—Alexandra’s tragic death—happens in Episode 7 of 1923 Season 2. She is played by Julia Schlaepfer and has been a fan favorite throughout the show especially as Spencer Dutton’s (Brandon Sklenar) loyal and fearless partner. Her story, from being a European noblewoman who ran away to surviving wild animals, shipwrecks, and the pressures of high society, makes her a unique character. But in the most recent episode, her story comes to a terrible end.

Spencer finally gets back to Montana after being away for a long time and feeling sad. He meets up with his uncle Jacob (Harrison Ford) again and goes to the train station. But trouble starts right away. Banner Creighton, played by Jerome Flynn, is also at the station trying to get away with his family. A fight breaks out on the platform, and Alexandra is tragically caught in the middle of it. She came all the way from Europe just to be with Spencer again, so this is a cruel turn of events.

WHAT HAPPENED IN 1923 SEASON 2 FINALE? EXPLAINED

Even though she makes it through the shooting, her troubles don’t end there. Alex has bad frostbite, probably because of the harsh weather in Montana and her rough trip. She is taken to a hospital in Bozeman, where doctors tell her family that they have to cut off both legs and one hand to save her life. Still, Alexandra, who is always proud and strong-willed, says no to the surgery. Even though she knows how hard it will be, she makes the heartbreaking choice to spend her last moments with her newborn child.

Alexandra’s baby boy was born early, when he was only six months old. He is named John after Jack Dutton. Even though she is dying, she makes sure that her son will carry on her legacy. It’s too late to save Spencer by the time she gets to her hospital room. But he does get one last emotional goodbye. It’s a sad, quiet scene that is one of the most powerful in the series so far.

1923 SEASON 2 ENDING EXPLAINS SPENCER’S MYSTERIOUS SECOND SON

1923 episode 8 Finale Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer)-

Now that Alexandra’s death is official, fans are sad about losing a character who brought grace, fire, and depth to the show. Many people have said nice things about Julia Schlaepfer’s performance ever since she first showed up. Her chemistry with Brandon Sklenar’s Spencer made their love story one of the most interesting parts of 1923. Her leaving is a big change for the whole Dutton family, not just Spencer.

But the show doesn’t end her story completely. In a touching ending scene that takes place 45 years from now, Spencer and Alexandra are reunited in the afterlife. She smiles at him and says, “Took you long enough.” before leaving. It’s a spiritual and emotional ending that makes their sad relationship better.

Even though Alexandra is no longer with us, she will always be remembered and loved by Spencer, her child and everyone who knew the Dutton family.
