San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital is about to get a blast from the past. According to Deadline, Antonia Thomas, who played Claire for the first four seasons before quitting in the season finale last spring, will return for two episodes in Season 5.
Antonia Thomas’ exit was announced on the same day as the Season 4 finale, and she had shown interest in returning to the ABC medical drama at the time. Her character was written in such a way that it was possible. she got a position in Guatemala. Everyone else left Guatemala after a medical mission, but Claire stayed to start a new job in the same place she worked before.
What brings Claire back and why she’s there for more than one episode. St. Bonaventure can only help people who need help there. and For Shaun and Lea’s wedding. Yes! Dr. Claire Browne, is back for the first of two guest appearances, just in time for the wedding of Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and Lea (Paige Spara). She will return in The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 16 The Shaun Show.

Chang posted a picture of herself, Thomas, and Freddie Highmore (Dr. Shaun Murphy) behind the scenes on March 20. “Saturday with these lovely people,” she wrote.
There was also a picture of Gubelmann and Noah Galvin (Dr. Asher Wolke) and Chang and Thomas. As Christina Chang and Fiona Gubelmann posted photos on social media of Thomas in a white lab coat, it looks like at some point, she’ll be working with her old coworkers again, even though they no longer work for the same company.
