Yes, Lina Esco, a main cast member of S.W.A.T., is leaving the CBS drama after five seasons, calling it “one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make.” She departing SWAT and her Chris Alonso role after the season 5 finale tonight. “Farewell” was even the episode’s finale title. We hoped she’d change her mind, but the instant Chris handed her gun and badge, it was evident she wouldn’t. at least for the time being. They didn’t kill Chris, and she’s still with Street.
