Is the DreamWorks film ‘The Bad Guys’ [2022] available to stream or see in theatres? Where to Watch?

DreamWorks Animation has been releasing two animated features per year for the previous three years, and they show no signs of slowing down in 2022! The Bad Guys, the first of two films from the company this year, is now available. The film is based on Aaron Blabey’s children’s graphic novel series of the same name, which he wrote and drew.

The Bad Guys is a film directed by Pierre Perifel and written by Etan Cohen. It follows a ragtag collection of criminal animals known as The Bad Guys. They are caught after their latest scheme goes bad, and after much thought, they decide to try to change their ways. Instead, they’re going to attempt to be decent men! Unfortunately, they soon discover that being “the good guys” isn’t as simple as it appears, especially as a new villain arrives in town and begins his grand plot.

Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell) leads the ‘Bad Guys’ squad, but you’re undoubtedly wondering who else is in the gang. Mr. Snake (Marc Meron), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), and hacker Ms. Tarantula (Marc Meron) are among the characters (Awkwafina). In supporting roles, the film also features Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) and Zazie Beetz (Atlanta). Audiences can expect a joyful, funny, and action-packed night with DreamWorks Animation’s talented crew behind this star-studded and sparkling animated blockbuster. However, there is one major point that must be addressed: how will you view it?

Is The Bad Guys now showing in theatres?

The Bad Guys will be released exclusively in theatres in the United States on Friday, April 22, 2022. The film has a running time of 100 minutes. The Bad Guys will not be released in theatres and online for streaming on the same day as DreamWorks Animation‘s previous film.

When and where can you watch The Bad Guys on Netflix?

The Bad Guys is now set to premiere on Peacock 45 days after its theatrical release date. This gives us a date of June 6, 2022, or close to it. For four months, it will only be available on Peacock before coming to Netflix. If you want to rent or buy a copy of The Bad Guys before it comes to Netflix, it’s likely that it was published on Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD before it came to Netflix.
