There’s some good news for Call Me Kat enthusiasts. The start of the second season is only a few hours away on Fox. The second season of Call Me Kat will air on Sunday, January 9 at 8.30 p.m. ET. (7:00-7:30 PM CT / 6:00-6:30 PM MT / 5:00-5:30 PM PT ) From Thursday, January 13 onwards, the remaining episodes of the series will return to their regular time slot, running every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

In Season 2, Mayim Bialik reprises her role as Kat, a lady in her late 30s who manages a cat cafe in Louisville and is unlucky in love. Swoosie Kurtz plays Kat’s overbearing mother Sheila, who is desperate for her daughter to find a marriage. Phil, the chief baker at Kat’s kitty cafe, is played by Leslie Jordan. Julian Gant of Love and Honor reprises his role as Carter, the bar owner next door to Kat’s cafe, and Cheyenne Jackson reprises her role as Max, Kat’s friend, and college crush who works at Carter’s bar. New Girl’s Lamorne Morris will reprise her role as Daniel, Vanessa Lachey will reprise her role as Tara, and up-and-coming actor Christopher Rivas will reprise his role as Oscar in Call Me Kat.
